FIRST LUNCH

Sunday, December 28th, 2008

I was completely sure that the lunch would be superb and tasty because the breakfast that I had and also the cup of tea that I had during the tea break were awesome and inviting to the mouth. Now each one of us bade thanks to our mathematics staff and we too started to the mess hall once our staff got out of the class. Since it was the first day we did not exactly know the way to the mess hall because our college was a big place and that we were following a bunch of students who were too proceeding towards some place which I thought would be that of the mess hall. I was right and that me along with my friend reached the mess hall. The mess hall too was a great big building which could house around 1500 students at a time. There were separate rows for vegetarians and non vegetarians. Then we proceeded to our respective places and had the lunch that was provided to us. It was delicious and by the time we had our lunch it was nearing our end of lunch break. So we hurried to our classes again.

FRIENDS

Wednesday, December 24th, 2008

The most beautiful relation in this world, who is ready to help us at any point in our life, irrespective of our position, without any expectations or returns or money and stands with us at difficult times of life, is a friend. It is a wonderful relationship that every person would definitely experience in their course of life. There are both true and fake friends, of course, but a friend who helps when needed would be the true friend indeed. It is always a joy to be around with friends and time just flies off when friends are near us. A friend is the only person with whom we can believe and share all our secrets and that is why friendship is regarded as the most wonderful and important relationship. The character of a person can be judged by the kind of friends he makes. We should be really careful in choosing friends. The relationship would be fruitful only if the character of the involved persons match with each other. A true friendship will be evident when the persons do not have ego and they give up for one another.

BREAK PERIOD IN MY COLLEGE

Saturday, December 20th, 2008

The interval period is 15 minutes long and I saw a series of cans in the ground floor of our block waiting for students to get a cup of tea or coffee. Many students were not interested in getting the cup of tea or coffee but I like tea a lot. I immediately but slowly went near the can, took a plastic white cup which had flower designs all over it and slowly filled three fourth of the cup with tea. Then I started to slowly drink the cup of tea enjoying the taste. Finally the 15 minutes break period came to an end and finally a bell rang which reminded all of us to enter our class. Then we crushed the cup and threw it into the dustbin though I did not want to crush it because of its beautiful design in it. Then everyone rushed into their classes as though someone was hitting them from behind and finally I too made into my class and went to my place near my dear friend and sat down into my usual style.

A PEACEFUL SLEEP

Tuesday, December 16th, 2008

At present working conditions, a peaceful sleep is something that everyone is longing for. Working hours have increased and are still increasing day by day. The only way to increase the working hours is to sacrifice sleep. A normal adult needs to sleep at least for six hours a day to lead a healthy life. Many workaholic people do not take this seriously. They often reduce their sleeping hours to do their work unaware of the consequences they are going to face in the near future. Lack of sleep leads to many complications in health which may not be visible in the early stages but it would be creating a big impact in the person’s future. It is also a fact that the efficiency of a person would reduce if he has not had a good night’s sleep. A person who sleeps well and takes up the job next day would be highly efficient and could even finish the job faster than the one who never slept or slept less. So even when work load is high, an efficient work would require a peaceful mind which can be attained only through a wonderful peaceful sleep.

BEING PASSIONATE

Monday, December 8th, 2008

Efficiency and passion are two things that go hand in hand and are directly proportional to each other. When a person likes the work he does, if he has a passion for the work, the work will definitely be finished more efficiently than it was done without that passion factor. Forcing a job on a person would not get you the best results. That is why it always advisable to go for a job that would suit you or a kind of job that you are passionate about. In this field you would shine a lot and you may get more recognition than just working in a field that is not of your interest. This is similar to love. You cannot just force a person to love you or love somebody. That wont look natural and it won’t be of much use. But if the person loves you from his or her heart without any compulsion, that is the true love which would be more effective and real.
